James Allen, deze man is niet bij iedereen bekend maar is de man die in de jaren dat in Engeland Formule 1 op ITV werd uitgezonden de hoofd-commentator was. Tegenwoordig is hij meer actief in het schrijvende gedeelte als journalist en heeft een zeer bekende blog waar hij veel interessante F1 weetjes en nieuwtjes op vermeld. James Allen heeft in het verleden twee boeken over Michael Schumacher geschreven, waaronder deze. (Op voorraad bij Gpworld) Begin december komt er een nieuw leuk boek uit van zijn hand:

De eerder door CMC in de schaal 1/18 aangekondigde Ferrari transporter, de Fiat 642 Bartoletti uit 1957 is helaas uitgesteld. Deze zou eind van het jaar 2010 uitkomen maar is nu verplaatst naar het eerste kwartaal van 2011.
